Today I’ve got four non-clinical healthcare remote roles across Medicare operations, women’s healthcare, and mental health support paying anywhere from $20 an hour all the way up to 90,000 a year. Let’s go ahead and get into it. Welcome back to Homebase Haven, your safe haven for real work from home jobs. Thank you so much for joining me as always.
Welcome Back and Let’s Begin with TIA Health
Welcome to those of you that have been here and welcome to those of you that are new as well. So let’s go ahead and begin with the first company and that is TIA health and they focus on women’s health care specifically. So you get whole person care. It’s complete integrated care personalized to each um patient and also they have online and in-clinic appointments in select cities.
TIA Health is Hiring a Billing Care Coordinator
So they’re currently hiring for a billing care coordinator and this is of course a remote role. And it says, “Tia is building a new model for women’s health care. One that treats women as whole people, not separate conditions or separate life stages.” So the Invoice care Organizer is going to help a team with complex or urgent Invoice Queries in a Considerate, clear, & Action-oriented way.
What You Will Be Executing in This Role
Now they go more into detail about what you’ll be doing this role. So of course, billing support that’s evident from the title, case resolution, cross-functional partnerships. So you’re going to be working across different teams to solve billing issues, documentation and compliance, making sure everything remains HIPPA compliant, escalation management, things that need to move up the ladder, maybe hire management needs to look at certain items, you’re going to handle that.
Member Experience and What They Want You to Bring
The member experience, you’re going to provide clear, compassionate communication always to their members/patients and process improvement. So make suggestions and changes where you’re able to just to make things work better for the overall workflow. And what they want you to bring is at least one year of experience in billing support, revenue cycle, patient or member services, customer support, or another high-touch service role.
Skills and Experience That Will Help You Stand Out
So that leaves a pretty wide open to different experiences, comfort handling, live phone interactions, escalations, and sensitive conversations with empathy and professionalism. strong attention to detail, documentation habits and follow-through, the ability to research issues and find the resolution, clear written verbal communication skills, comfort using billing systems, ticketing tools, phone systems, Google Workspace or similar technology.
Your Background Does Not Have to Be Healthcare
And so essentially anything you’ve used for tracking, if it wasn’t billing specific, it be finance, banking, anything related to billing, any ticketing tools, and it doesn’t have to be in the healthcare space, anything that falls within these categories, make sure you mention that. And the ability to work full-time weekday hours, they have nice to haves here, which of course is centered around having healthcare experience.
Healthcare Experience Is a Nice to Have Not a Requirement
So, if that is you, make sure you see if your healthcare experience is mentioned here. And if not, if it’s healthcare at all or even insurance related, actually make sure you um absolutely make sure that you mention that on your resume. But it is not a requirement. It is a nice to have. And this is of course a fully remote role.
Entry-Level Friendly Pay for Those Breaking Into Health Tech
And the pay for this is pretty entry level. So, it’s very entry-level friendly for those that are trying to get into the health care space, especially in health tech, and just want to get their foot in the door. Again, this does not require healthcare experience. So, that’s why this is more of that entry-level pay of 20 to $22 per hour.
Good Reasons to Join TIA Health
All right. And then they go over some of why some good reasons why you would want to join TIA. So, an opportunity to help shape and scale a new model for women’s healthcare. They’re in a mission-driven environment. They have a collaborative, thoughtful team. you get to be in a high impact role, the opportunity to partner across various teams and I would add in just to get healthcare experience in a varied way.
Next Up is Spring Health and Their Mental Health Roles
Um, if again you’re trying to just tap into that space. Well, let’s go ahead and look at the next one. This is with Spring Health. If you are familiar with this channel, I’ve mentioned them several times over the almost two years now. And they are in the mental health space. They’re a large company in that space and they’re always growing and looking for new individuals to add to their many teams.
Spring Health Medical Records Coordinator Position
And the roles I’m going to share are two temporary roles. First, we’re going to start with this medical records coordinator position. And for this role, they’re looking for a detail oriented medical records coordinator to join their care support team. You’ll be focused on, of course, records processing, including but not limited to sending out patient authorization forms.

Weekend and Holiday Availability and Shift Options
And take note this. Um, they want you to have the ability to work one weekend a month and at least four holidays per year. They’re in the mental health space. Healthcare companies in general typically work year round. So, make sure you’re okay with that before you proceed with your application. And these are the shift options they have available.

And they often can if you perform well and hit your metrics and you learn quickly and perform your work well and thoroughly.
Temporary Roles Can Turn Permanent If You Show Up Strong
And show your interest and enthusiasm for the role, they’ll typically extend you or ask you to stay on as a permanent um member. So, always put your best foot forward, show up, do your best work, and this temporary role could become permanent if that’s something you’re interested in. And it’s also a neat way for you to quote unquote date the company and see if it’s actually where you would want to be in longer term.
Sign Up for the Email List and Get First Dibs on Leads
And they have another role available. But before that, I do want to mention, please make sure if you haven’t already, you sign up on my email list.
