I’m showing you how to use your resources and navigate these companies careers pages so that maybe there’s a new position that they just posted and now you can, you know, get your application in for it.

These companies are always updating their careers pages. So, don’t think of it as just, well, it’s one lead. Think of it as, oh, there are other remote opportunities that I can choose from. That’s what I want y’all to see. So, we’re going to get into one role in particular right now.

Team Health Overpayment Representative Role

So, jumping on in, this is for Team Health’s overpayment representative position, and they’re going to hook you up with some really great benefits. You get paid holidays, equipment provided, which is awesome.

And so they let us know that the overpayment representative is responsible for reviewing, processing, reports, and correspondence in the ETM system related to credit balances, refund requests, recoups, payment research, and unidentified payments for emergency services business line.

And then from here we can toggle our search for, you know, what we are looking for. If you have your state, you can put that or you can just type in remote. And then from here we can see like what they have available.

Now jumping on in, this is for their rehab support position. It is fully remote and as a rehab support team member, you’ll play a key role in helping patients receive complex rehab equipment. You’ll manage patient files, verify insurance coverage, and coordinate the necessary documentation.

So, this is an awesome opportunity. I love the details that they give us. And this is an administrative coordinator position. They just have that health slant to it. And you are going to be making sure patients receive their rehab equipment. That’s what this is all about.

This is a huge company, 10,000 plus employees, great rating on glass door and healthcare, you know, that’s just where it’s at, y’all. So, at the top in the right, you’ll see where it says careers, and you can just select that.

You can learn more about the company, their culture, all sorts of great benefits and things that the company offers. We want to just hit begin your career search now. And that’s going to take us to where we can search for an opportunity.

Customer Care Order Placement Position Details

So, I’m going to get into one in particular right now. So, jumping on in, this is for their customer care order placement representative 2 position.That’s how it is for all trainings. Okay?

And they have a shift bid schedule based on business need. You must be open and flexible to work any hours between 8:00 a.m. And will also involve Saturday hours.

Shift Details And Responsibilities

So, you just have to be open to, you know, one weekend day if that’s what you land on with your shift bid. And so, you’re going to be responsible for answering inbound calls from customers to place orders or reorders of medical supplies.

So, you know, that last role was about, you know, getting people their equipment, a medical, you know, type device thing. This is about ordering medical supplies.

Call Center Experience Needed

And this is a high volume call center, so you have to be comfortable taking calls. And so to qualify, you need a high school diploma, two to four years experience in high volume call center, previous experience working in a remote or work from home setting is preferred but not required.

You got to know Microsoft Office, be comfortable with using, you know, different equipment and tools and things of that nature. It’s nice if you’ve worked in healthcare before and you know those things that would make you a great call center agent.

And I have shared this company before actually within like the last month or so. I want to say they specialize in trash and amenity services for apartments, condos, and multifamily communities.

So you may recognize this company from your own, you know, place that you live. And they are a huge company. Pretty good rating. You know, to be fair with such a huge company, I wouldn’t be, you know, upset at it. You know, some people really like it. Some people might have something to say.

How To Search For Jobs At Valet Living

So, if you want to go to their careers at the top, you’ll just select careers. And from there, you can learn more about the company, their culture, all their benefits and great things that they have going on.

Support Representative Role Details

I’m going to get into one right now. So, jumping on in, this is for their support representative position. This is a full-time US-wide role and this is very beginner-friendly.

You’re going to be doing customer service and they let us know that you’re going to manage a high volume of phone calls, emails, live chats, and web inquiries daily.

Tips For Getting Non-Phone Jobs

And you guys, if you’re trying to make it to no phone land, you have to have that stuff on your resume for those nonphone jobs to feel comfortable hiring you. So sometimes you have to be on the phone to get that email, live chat, you know, web inquiry, social media experience, and then you’re more marketable for those non-phone roles. Just giving y’all some tips.

Skills And Experience Needed

And so you just need to have active listening skills, ask clarifying questions, handle complaints with empathy, conduct client satisfaction calls, and send digital surveys to gather feedback, and recommend additional services or products when appropriate.

And so that’s what you’ll be doing. And they want you to have at least two years of customer service experience. If it’s in a high volume call center, that’s great, but it doesn’t have to be.

Tech Savvy And Communication Skills

It’s nice to be tech savvy. We know we got to use a computer well if we’re going to work from home and there’s probably going to be a million different screens just like every job and then, you know, be a problem solver, excellent communicator, and a high school diploma.

So, I love this because they’re going to give you benefits, pay time off, you get paid holidays. And not every call center, customer service role hooks you up like that. So, you know, those are things to think about.

And you guys know my personal fave. When the company is going to invest in your education, you use these roles as a stepping stone so that when you are in these positions, you’re taking advantage of everything, getting all those benefits, and now you have more skills that are going to allow you to be competitive for those more lucrative remote opportunities.

Final Tips For Applying

So, if you’re like Delila, I’m convinced, then I would put my best foot forward. You could just use the customer service one or two résumé templates, pair it with one of our cover letter templates, and be on your merry way. This would be perfect for the customer service template.

And now, let’s move on to the final company. So, jumping on in, the final company that I want to spotlight is Paraton. And I really have had my eyes on this company for like the last couple of years because I love a huge company.

I love companies that have, you know, government contracts. I love companies that are doing like, you know, critical type work. This company’s in like IT defense, that kind of stuff. That’s great cause, you know, those pockets are deep.

So, they have a great rating on glass door and I love that. I love sharing companies like this with y’all. If you want to see their careers, you would just go to the top where they have careers listed here and then you can learn more about the company.

You can go to careers by just leaving it blank and hitting search. And then now you’re able to toggle your search for remote opportunities. And they have a lot of opportunities. I’m going to get into one right now.

Customer Service Representative Role At Paraton

So jumping on in, this is for their customer service representative position. This is remote. However, I saved it for last because it is limited. All the other leads I shared today are available US-wide.

This one is limited to these locations. Cali’s in the number and we know Cali sometimes is not in the number. So I always like to point that out.

Shift Options And Work Hours

And the other reason that I really like this role is they are offering second and third shifts including weekends. So I know a lot of us want to work with the Owls. Anytime I can share something where the Owls are going to be up with you, then I will.

And so this is remote. Candidates must reside within these locations. And you’re going to be a customer service representative supporting the USPS.com and associated applications.

Job Duties: Email And Chat Support

So, you’re going to handle live chat sessions and email inquiries. And it looks like it’s mostly email and chat, and that’s what they keep telling us here.

So, I’m always reserving room for maybe they might make a phone call or you might have to occasionally, but this is a nonphone role, and I like to put all that out there just so people understand even in nonphone roles, sometimes it’s just quicker to pick up a phone.

Clarifying The Nonphone Role

But is this where you got that headset on you the whole shift and that you know those calls are coming in? Mm-m. It’s email and it’s chat. So, we love that.
