All right, you guys. So jumping on in here, we are stopping first at Brinks. Now I was just talking about this company last week, and it had been, I don’t know, quite some time between the last that I had spoken about this company. So, it’s great to see that they have a lot of opportunities that are coming down the pipeline, and this is a major company — 10,000 plus employees over 70 locations. Great rating for all the reviews that they have here.
How to Explore Careers at Brinks
So, if you’re interested in their careers, at the top you’ll see where it says Careers on their homepage, and you can select that, and from there you can learn more about the company, their culture, the different positions and opportunities, all of that good stuff. We want to see what they have available. So, we would just go here and hit Search Jobs. And from here, we can toggle our search. So, this company hires internationally. We’re in the States, so we would select that. And then you can find something for your state, but that would be like an in-person role.
Finding Remote Roles at Brinks
We want to see remote opportunities. So, you can just type in remote. And from there, it’ll automatically show you what they have available remote USwide. So, the lead that I want to get into is this part-time one. So jumping on in here, this is for Brinks remote cash operation specialist part-time position. This is available USwide, and they let us know that the cash operations specialist will be responsible for supporting our daily cash management efforts and closely working with the analytics team to ensure the customers’ needs are always exceeded.
Responsibilities and Requirements for Brinks Role
So, you’re going to monitor operational health metrics for our enterprise customers, coordinate cash order placement with financial institutions, report and research cash-related anomalies, create daily, weekly, and monthly reports, communicate with third parties on a daily basis, and what you’ll need to bring to the table. Okay, they say you need working knowledge of Excel — that is required.
Why This Role Could Be a Ideal
So, this is a great opportunity, and I like the fact that, you know, this is really not looking for anything too crazy for what this is when you’re working in finances, and that’s what this company is all about. You do need to have both that financial and sort of technical aspect to you. So, I know there’s a lot of folks on this channel who have worked in the financial industry. You know, if you’re a student or maybe you’ve taken a step back from full-time work and you want to work, but you know, not necessarily full-time hours, this might be a good fit for you.

About ADT and Its Job Openings
They have two positions that are limited, but I think these are going to be great for the folks who they are for. So, as I mentioned, the remaining leads that I’m going to share with y’all, they’re bonuses because they’re not hiring everywhere, but in a lot of places. So, this is a funny picture. ADT is a security company, a home security company.
ADT’s Reputation and Remote Opportunities
They might have commercial clients, but I mostly know them for being a home security company. And if you go over to their glass store, this is a huge company as well. Many locations, lots of reviews, and it seems like people like them. Now, they are known to have remote opportunities, which is great.
How to Find Jobs at ADT
So, anytime you’re, you know, doing a job hunt, you might want to check them out. So, at the bottom under About Us, if you select Careers, you’ll be taken over to their careers page. You can learn more about them, their company culture, what they have going on, and this is all very helpful information.
Searching for Remote Jobs at ADT
We want to see their available opportunities. So, up here, I’m just going to hit Search Jobs, leave it blank, and then now we can toggle our search for what it is that we want. So, under remote jobs, we can say remote. And then we can see what they have available. And these are the two that I wanted to go into.
Technical Support Role at ADT
So, jumping on into the first role from ADT, this is for their technical support representative. It is not nationwide. If you scroll down a little bit farther, you’ll see where they mention the states that they are hiring in. You need to live in one of these states to be eligible.
Job Duties and Start Date for ADT Technical Role
So, it’s not everywhere, but it is a lot of places. And so you’re going to provide specialized telephone technical support to ADT direct authorized dealer subcontractor personnel and enduser customers, as well as provide quality control of the account base through cutin procedures.
Utilize programming knowledge of multiple radio and alarm panel systems, work in multiple ADT and vendor web applications and computer systems. And this is slated to begin October 13th. Now, just a moment here because I always like to take time to, you know, do a little bit of educating and all of that cuz this is an education channel.
Tips to Verify Seriousness of Job Postings
If you are ever concerned about is this company serious? Are they really hiring or is this just another one of those, you know, job post and and they’re not serious? I would say look for a start date. That’s what I always tell folks. Look for a start date.
That doesn’t necessarily mean that the ones without start dates aren’t serious, but if you want to know that they are motivated to hire, anytime they tell you when the training is, the schedule, you know, all of that good stuff, that’s very great for us cuz then we know, okay, they’re really serious.
So, this is going to be here before we know it. And so, you just have to be techsavvy. This is a great role for those trying to really get into tech. They just want you to have six months of ADT experience in telephone groups or 1 to two years of related industry experience.
So, we’re not currently ADT employees. So, you would just need 1 to two years of related industry experience. This is what applies to us. So, as long as you have done something where you could say, okay, I helped people, you know, maybe it was in a tech support kind of capacity or maybe it was just something that, you know, I kind of had to walk people through multiple steps, that would count.
Other Requirements for ADT Technical Role
And so you just need to be able to pass a data and provisioning assessment during training, demonstrate ability to maintain a high degree of productivity and accuracy, excellent verbal and written communication skills, be able to type 25 words per minute, have computer knowledge and problem solving and multitasking skills is a must.

Customer Service Role at ADT
Now, the second role that I wanted to spotlight is their customer service representative position.
It also says nationwide, but this one is hiring in those limited locations that I mentioned earlier. So, you need to be in those same locations. Now, if the tech support role is not for you, which hey, I understand everybody’s not, you know, super into the tech stuff.
This one might be more along what you’re looking for. So, you’re going to be responsible for inbound call traffic into field and operation support centers from both internal and external customers. You’re going to provide scheduling support and resolutions to internal work groups.
You’re going to handle all customer scheduling inbound related calls to include appointment reschedules, appointment confirmations, and general appointment inquiries. So, there’s a lot of scheduling and appointment making going on. And you’re going to be expecting about 100 to 150 inbound calls daily.
So, yes, that phone’s going to be glued to your ear, that headset. You got to be okay with that. And so this role requires you to type a little faster. Nothing crazy. High school diploma, and it says superb customer service skills.
Why This Role Strength a Suitable Candidate
This might be one of those bridge the gap roles because there are no experience healthcare appointment scheduling roles, but you’ll definitely see a lot more where they want you to have a background in scheduling appointments.
And since they don’t tell you years of experience, you just need to have worked in customer service before, you know, for whatever amount of time that is. So, this is a very beginnerfriendly foot in the door roll.
It’s also going to start on October 13th. If you want to put your best foot forward, then you could use RESUME TEMPLATE either the customer service one or two résé templates if that’s your background.

Some of these are going to work for some opportunities, some might not. That’s why you always want to look at the company’s tech specs if they are looking for something specific. Like, for example, Live Ops, they are very specific about their processor.
Same thing with the other 1099 companies. They’re very specific about what processors and gigabytes you need. If you’re not working for a company that has those very like specific things that they’re looking for, then you know, you have more leeway with what you choose.
