Umbrella. The companies here are going to be mental health care companies in the tech space, as well as an all-in-one health care platform. And the positions range from customer service, accounts payable, enrollment, admissions, things of that nature. So, if any of that is interesting, please stick around. Welcome back to Homebased Haven, your safe haven for real work from home jobs. Thank you so much for joining me. Let’s go ahead and jump into the first company.

JOB 1 Introduction: Charlie Health and the Admissions Coordinator Role

We’re going to be looking at JOB 1 Charlie Health, and I’ve shared them several times on the channel before, and this particular role is an admissions coordinator position, and they work in mental health at this company. So, why Charlie Health? Millions of people over the country are steering mental health conditions, substance use disorders, and eating disorders, but too often they are  met with difficulties to care. So, Charlie Health exists to change that. Our mission is to connect the world to life saving reactions health treatment.

Company Summary and Role Outline for Admissions organizers

So, that is  what they specialize in. I’d like to give you a little quick synopsis of what each company is about before I get into the role. Now, about this admissions coordinator ROLE says, Charlie Health is one of the fastest growing startups in the healthcare industry. Our admissions team members ensure that every possible patient and family member feel taken care of by Charlie Health. So in this role, you’re going to facilitate the admissions for hundreds of AT-RISK clients.

Responsibilities and Client Interaction in the Admissions Role

So it is a very inter active role going to be a rejective part of just getting patients on boarded and understanding what their services are that they can access through Charlie Health. Okay, that is just a quick summary, and they go more into detail about the targeted responsibilities in this role. So again, since you’re going to be highly interactive in this position, facilitate a high volume of inbound and outbound calls from prospective clients, families, and referral sources. Build deep trust and rapport with clients. Maintain meticulous client records, especially, particularly in Salesforce.

Coordination, Qualifications, and Sales Experience Needed

Coordinate with internal teams and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the services that Charlie Health provides. What they want you to have is a bachelor’s degree, one to five years of sales experience, and if it’s in healthcare admissions, that’s a plus, but they don’t specify that it has to be. So, that leaves you wide open for sales experience. Honestly, I would even include retail as sales experience. I worked in retail many moons ago, um, when I was a teenager, and I had to do some sales because I was helping clean up the store, but also when we worked at the cashier, we had to, um, pitch the credit card for the store, and that’s sales.

Sales Experience and Compensation Details

So, and we would get some commission for that as well. So any kind of sales experience, if they leave it wide open, you leave it wide open to make sure you get your foot in the door to be considered for these roles. Experience in healthcare missions (of course) is a plus, like I mentioned. Proven track record of exceptional performance goals. Experience with Sales force. The ability to work on a shift-based schedule. Let me jump back to Salesforce. If you have not used Salesforce before, quick tip: Salesforce has their own platform called Trailhead.

Learning Salesforce and Additional Skills

So you can just Google Salesforce Trailhead, and it’s created by them, and it’s a way for you to be self-taught on their platform. And there is, I mean, tons for you to sort through on there because Salesforce has many functions, as you would imagine, but you can find the ones that are more healthcare specific that are, you know, related to maybe something like tracking client interactions, project management, things like that, and play around with it and be self-taught, and then you can get that experience in that way, and that’s something great to speak to as well.

Self-Taught Experience and Work Environment Expectations

If you haven’t used or worked in a role that used Salesforce, you can say your experience has been self-taught through their platform, which shows your initiative, your openness to learning new things, and your ability to learn new things quickly as well. So, just a little quick tip there. Strong performance  in multi tasking and operating in a high progressive  environment. Familiarity with HIPAA policies is a plus. Experience working with adolescents and young adults in mental health text, excuse me, in the mental health context is a plus.

Additional Skills and Compensation Structure

So these last ones are just bonuses, right? And proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite. Those you could easily access Google Suite if you have a Gmail, you could easily play around with that there. And the pay for this role. So the base for this role is 54 to 60 per year, and then it says the total target cash compensation—and I cannot speak today—range, including the B potential bonus, then brings it up to 66 to 84 per year.

Other Roles Available at Charlie Health

Okay, so that is a nice big jump based on just bonuses and your total compensation, and then you can proceed down below to the actual application. Okay, now I want to take a moment to highlight two other roles really quick with Charlie Health. They are hiring for several. I’m going to show you their careers page in a second. I’m just going to jump and show you the title, a little bit about it. The next one, I believe, is going to be a data entry role, so pay attention for that.

CARE EXPERIENCE JOB 2 Specialist Role Overview

So, this is the CARE EXPERIENCE JOB 2 specialist. And on this one, you’re going to be communicating with their clients in a different capacity. So, on this team, the care experience specialist will also act as a liaison between clients and their internal teams with Charlie Health. So you’re going to be kind of that bridge whereas the previous role, you’re helping them come onboard with Charlie Health. This one you’re helping them kind of bridge between the clinicians and the clients.

Duties and Compensation for the Care Experience Specialist

So you’re going to answer inbound calls, emails, and texts. Again, like I mentioned, be that liaison between the two, communicate their aftercare resources, managing the client schedule, things of that nature. And the pay for this role is 45 to 55 per year. And then one more. And then I’m going to show you their careers page because there’s a long list available there as well that’s remote.

JOB 3 Care Admin Specialist Role Details

JOB 3 The care admin specialist role. This is a full-time role with them, and in this one, this is more data entry specific. They don’t mention any phone calls or any live article chat or anything like that with anyone. It says in this, you’re going to play a crucial role in supporting the operations of our organization by ensuring accuracy and completeness of patient data, facilitating the transfer of information between systems, and providing admin support to the admissions and clinical teams.

Communication and Pay for Care Admin Specialist

So, it seems like the only talking you might do in this role will probably be just internally with the admissions and clinical teams, which, because everyone will be so busy, will likely be just over email or maybe in company messaging over Slack or something of that nature. So, if you’re making sure the data is complete and accurate, you’re not going to have to do much phone work at all. And the pay for this role, they only want you to have one year of relevant work experience, which could be any kind of customer service, client support type of role.

Pay Rate and Remote Roles Summary

And this one is $20 per hour plus benefits, a little bit lower because again, data entry specific roles, they just do not pay typically as high as ones where you’re communicating with clients or in a sales capacity or anything like that. But $20 per hour to not have to talk to anyone directly is not bad. Okay. And then on their careers 15+ ROLES page, if you go here and select just specifically remote, you will see they have a long list.

Non-Clinical Remote Roles Information

I counted some of them, and then I stopped counting [laughter]. Over 15 specific remote roles that are not clinical. So I didn’t count this. These are clinical, more therapist-based roles. I wasn’t counting that. Just the straight-up remote non-clinical roles. And there are many, as you can see, for you to scroll through and see maybe what best fits your experience depending on what you are looking for.

Included Health Company Overview and Job Roles

Okay, so I had to mention that. Let’s jump into the next one. This is with Included Health. Now, Included Health is kind of like an all-in-one healthcare management platform, and a little bit more about them says we have bold aspirations that drive our work. We care in every way that shows everything we do. If you go to their open positions, they have a long list as well.

About Included Health’s Services and Senior Provider Enrollment Role

And a little more about them companies or they manage kind of like everything from admissions, onboarding clients as well as clinicians, managing the operations for those different clinicians, things of that nature. What they are looking for is a senior provider enrollment specialist. The enrollment provider enrollment senior specialist plays a critical role in ensuring healthcare providers are properly enrolled and credentialed with insurance payers and regulatory bodies.

Role Responsibilities and Qualifications for Provider Enrollment

So you handle some credentialing as well. So like I mentioned, it’s just kind of a lot of operations JOB 4 support for clinicians. This position is responsible for overseeing the entire provider enrollment life cycle. And they go more into detail. I like that they break this down so you can see, based on category, what you’ll be doing in that role.

Minimum Education and Experience Necessaries

Let’s look at the qualifications to apply. They prefer that you have a bachelor’s degree, but an associate’s degree in healthcare administration, business, or a related field is required. So minimum requirement is an associate’s degree and it could be as general as business. It does not have to be healthcare specific. Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in provider enrollment, credentialing or revenue cycle operations.

Additional Skills and Pay Information for Provider Enrollment Role

Strong understanding of payer enrollment processes for commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid plans. Experience working with provider enrollment portals and ability to analyze enrollment data and proficiency in Microsoft Office suite as well. And the pay breakdown, and they also have preferred qualifications if you have any of these certifications listed, but it’s not a requirement.

Pay Zones and Location-Based Compensation

As far as the pay, they break it down per zone, which is not uncommon to see. So depending on which zone your location falls in, these are the pay ranges that you could expect. So the bottom of that is $22.84 per hour and the high end is $38.60 per hour, and typically the one on the higher end is going to be your, excuse me, is going to be your far coast.

Geographical Pay Differences and Benefits

To think like New York, California, the PNW, areas like that tend to fall here, and everybody else just kind of falls into these other categories typically by zone. Some of the benefits you get: your 401k, your insurance coverage, 12 weeks of paid parental leave, family bonding and compensation leave, work from home support for your home office, things of that nature, paid time off.

Benefits Package Summary

So, nice benefits package. Pretty solid, pretty standard there. And another role I want to highlight with them is an accounts payable associate role. Now, this one was a specific request, um, within the JOB 5 past few days from a subscriber that left me a comment letting me know. Thank you for highlighting that category for me because that’s not one that I typically share.

Accounts Payable Associate Role Introduction

So, this is an accounts payable associate, and I know the subscriber did mention that I know you didn’t want necessarily one that was in the medical capacity, but I saw this and I just had to share it just in case, since it’s not a traditional hospital, if maybe it could still appeal to your background and what you’re looking for and anyone else that might be interested in these type of roles. Let me know in the comments if that’s you.

Accounts Payable Associate Responsibilities and Requirements

So, they’re seeking a detail-oriented and organized accounts payable associate to join their finance team. You’re responsible for the full cycle processing of invoices, ensuring all vendors are paid accurately and on time while maintaining meticulous financial records. They break down the key responsibilities [clears throat], excuse me, more specifically and experience: one to three years of experience in accounting or accounts payable roles, proficiency in Excel.

Desired Skills and Education for Accounts Payable Role

So you have to be comfortable with those pivot tables and VLOOKUPs, those types of functions. A high school diploma is compulsory. An associate’s or bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business is selected. That’s just a preference. And the ability to spot minute discrepancies in high volumes of data. And they list more preferred skills here.

Resume Tips and Pay for Accounts Payable

So, if that is something that you have experience with, that includes you, make sure you add it to your resume. And the pay, again, because it’s still the same company, Included Health. It’s broken down by zone. On the low end is $49,880 per year up to $84,350 per year plus equity plus benefits.

Compensation Package and Next Company Introduction

So the true value is much more, could easily go into the six-figure range when you include the full compensation package. All right, so I just wanted to highlight that for you as well. And then next, JOB 6 we’re going to Alma, Almonds, another company in the mental health care space, and they are rapidly growing in the health tech industry as well, and I’ve shared them several times on the channel.

Customer Experience Specialist at Alma

They’re looking for a customer experience specialist, which could leave it open to a wide background. The customer experience specialist is a specialized support role responsible for resolving moderate to high complexity customer inquiries related to the Alma product and health insurance. So this role is execution focused.

Work Environment and Tasks for Customer Experience Specialist

Ideal candidates will thrive in production environments, so where you have to have a certain, um, quality standard and meet certain metrics. They are big on that. And what you’ll be doing, they break it down here: you’re going to be resolving service tickets, um, serve as the first line of escalation, collaborate on workflow improvements, so just kind of cleaning up and refining their processes and their SOPs, maintain subject matter expertise, and ensure ticket accuracy and documentation.

Job Requirements and Skills for the Support Specialist Role

What they want you to have is two years of customer support, u, handling specialized high priority or escalation queues in healthcare, fintech, or startup environments. Pay and Benefits for Customer Support Role

And what’s great about this company for one: pay for a customer support role, the low end is $70,000, hello, to $84,000 [clears throat] per year for customer support. So, if I did not have your attention before, I think I have it now. They are a remote first company.

Additional Perks and Stipends at Alma

Health insurance plans are through Aetna and MetLife. You get your monthly therapy and wellness stipends. You get a monthly stipend for a co-working space, so if you don’t want to work in your home office and you need to change your environment every now and then, they’ll give you some money for that every month. Final Benefits Summary and Sign Off

So think, you know, maybe a spare monitor, keyboard, mouse, ergonomic chair, things of that nature. Comprehensive parental leave, 12 paid holidays, and one on my giveback day, and flexible PTO in general. I took a moment for that because this is a really nice benefits package on top of the high pay for customer service.
