Top Remote AI Training Jobs Hiring Now – Flexible & Legit

Remote AI Training Jobs

Hey guys, in this article we have some new real AI training jobs that are hiring remotely at a few different companies if you’re interested in helping build different AI models. These have varying amounts of experience required and varying schedules. So, the first company we are looking at is called Telus Digital.

Telus Digital Company Overview and Legitimacy

Telus Digital is actually a publicly traded company. You can look at their TIXT ticker wherever you buy stocks. And if you want to just have further proof that they are a legitimate company, uh, you can use Google Gemini, and they do verify this is in fact a legitimate company and not a scam. And they are an international company that does all sorts of work in, uh, telecommunications and things like that.

AI Related Jobs and Data Partner Roles at Telus Digital

So, if you want something AI related, they actually have like a separate section for AI related jobs, and they have these jobs called a Data Partner. Now, they have these for different areas as well. This is not the only one. So, you can see a bunch of different ones here. You have Accounting, Chemistry, a regular PhD Data Partner, Business, Business Writer.

Variety of Subjects and Global Locations for Data Partner Jobs

You see lots of different languages. You see lots of different parts of the world. Some of them are in North America, Global, Europe, etc. Asia, you have Law, Psychology, and many. So, it’s basically about a certain subject. It says they have 206 results that match this, um, this keyword, which I just typed in Data Partner. So, they have quite a few of these in different subjects.

Freelance Status and Flexibility of Telus Digital Jobs

Now, these are freelance-based jobs. So, you will not get probably any sort of benefits. You will not be a person getting a W2 employee status or anything like that. So, if you want more flexibility and you’re willing to give up some of the perks that come with being a regular employee, you might check them out. But again, this doesn’t mean that anybody can get every one of these jobs.

Subject Matter Expertise Requirements for Data Partner Roles

They will require you to be some sort of subject matter expert in the field for which the job is hiring. So, this one they want you to be highly knowledgeable in Design. They want you to be highly knowledgeable in the field of, in this example, Electronics. Again, they have many different fields they are looking for, but, uh, you would basically design advanced domain specific questions and solutions.

Role in Developing and Validating Large Language Models (LLMs)

So, it sounds like you’re helping build an LLM or give feedback on an LLM, which if you think of what an LLM is in terms of AI is basically what ChatGPT is. It’s what Google Gemini is. It’s what the AI chat platform would be called. So, you are going to help with those and basically make sure that it is generating proper responses in your field of expertise when you type in questions in that field.

Key Responsibilities of the Data Partner Position

Uh, key responsibilities: develop complex original question-answer pairs based on advanced topics in your area of expertise.

Educational and Experience Requirements for Telus Digital Jobs

Now, they do require a college degree for a lot of these. They may not always require a ton of experience, but again, you do have to prove that you know what you’re talking about. And to prove you are a subject matter expert, a lot of times they want you to show that you have some sort of degree relevant to that field.

Degree and Language Skills Needed

So, completed Master’s degree, Bachelor’s degree or Associate’s degree in Electronics is essential or whatever subject you are applying in. Strong proficiency in English, in this case writing specifically. So, you need good grammar, clarity, able to explain concepts in written form. And then previous experience working in similar AI projects is advantageous but may not be a dealbreaker if you don’t have that.

Qualification Exam and Interview Process

So, you will have a subject-specific qualification exam. This is usually one of their main ways of assessing whether they want you to work with them or not. They may or may not have you take an actual interview. You may or may not have to actually talk to somebody, but they for sure usually mention some sort of exam before you do any sort of freelance work with Telus Digital.

Payment and Factors Affecting Rate

Now, the payment is pretty solid, 20 to 50 per hour again, but you do have to have some sort of college degree in the field you’re applying in. So, uh, level of expertise and education can affect that rate, results of skill assessments, geographic location, and more. Again, these are typically available all over the world and in many different subjects and languages.

Reviews and Ratings for Telus Digital Jobs

As far as what it is like to work at this company, now, they have over 7,000 reviews. So, you can search for whatever the actual name of the gig would be.

Benefits and Interview Insights

I don’t think you’ll have any sort of benefits because you’re a freelancer. If you do have any sort of interview or if you want to read people’s experience about what it was like taking the assessment, just look at their interview questions. Again, just because it’s called the interview section on Glassdoor doesn’t mean it’s all just interviews. It doesn’t mean you’re always talking to somebody.

Interview Feedback and Difficulty

I’ve looked at interview feedback on a lot of these companies and they actually tell you well if they even had a formal interview or if they just took a test and got an accepted email. So, difficulty-wise not bad though and the experience has been mostly positive when people apply here.

Introduction to Outlaw.ai Jobs

Now, another one you can check out, it may not have the most consistent work hours, but if you just want something to try out, maybe part-time or something like that, um, you can check out Outlaw.ai. So, this is at outlawier.ai. This is what their website looks like. They are actually part of a larger company called Scale AI, but they are not a scam.

Outlaw.ai Legitimacy and Reddit Resume Example

They are legitimate as proven here by scanning many different sources through, uh, Google Gemini. So, another thing about Outlier AI that’s interesting, if you follow Reddit, uh, there are obviously many different subreddits related to career advice and people discussing getting a job.

Well, I actually found somebody who was posting their resume recently, trying to get some feedback on their resume. And you may notice something about this resume. If you look under experience here, uh, they said a Math Evaluator remote at Outlier AI contract reviewed and debugged 200 plus AI generated math solutions, applies structured rubrics across five dimensions.

Real Resume Evidence of Outlaw.ai Work

So, you can see right here we have a real resume example from someone who is posting in a job related subreddit u talking, you know, trying to get resume feedback that is literally putting Outlier AI as one of the top jobs under their experience. So, they are in fact legit, people do actually work here and Google Gemini does verify that they are a real company.

Job Types and Flexibility at Outlaw.ai

Now, they have stuff like a Graphics and Visual Design, um, gig for AI training. They have others for AI training as well. Again, these a lot of times have different subjects. So, this part right here may change for different subjects, but generally it’ll say something like AI training in the job title.

It’s always remote work. It’s usually flexible. Again, sometimes when it’s flexible and you get to set your own hours, that sounds good, but that also usually means you’re not going to get a lot of benefits. You’re probably going to be treated as either a contractor or freelancer, which are both pretty much the same thing.

Hour Guarantees and Global Hiring at Outlaw.ai

And it doesn’t always guarantee you a ton of hours either, as mentioned by Gemini. But they do hire many different countries. So, this is just one example, but they have lots of different countries where you can apply in and then you earn up to 40 per hour plus performance bonuses. Work remotely and flexibly.

Job Role and Passion for AI at Outlaw.ai

So, with this one, they would want you to contribute expertise toward training and refining cutting edge AI systems. So, there you go. You’re not just working with AI, you are helping train it, which is the point of these jobs. They want you to be passionate about the subject and excited for the future of AI as well.

Training AI Models and Evaluating Outputs

You’ll train AI models. Again, further proof that you are in fact helping train them and then you will evaluate their outputs. Basically, when they generate some sort of response, you will make sure it’s the proper response and that’s that there’s no problems with it.

You will assess, you will assess factual accuracy and design quality, contribute across different projects. What they’re looking for here: education, Bachelor’s degree or higher or currently enrolled in a design field. So, again in the field of expertise they’re asking for this will vary. Subject expertise, analytical skill, strong writing, attention to detail.

Additional Desired Qualifications for Outlaw.ai Jobs

Nice to have some of the things they look for here: professional experience in fields like, and these again will vary depending on which one you apply for, but just do you have professional experience in a field related to the subject they want you to train AI in, prior writing or editorial experience, an interest or background in AI machine orienting or creative tech tools.

Payment Details and Work Setup

Base rate, again, they say up to 40 per hour plus performance bonuses. Work remotely and flexibly. So, with this one, they would want you to contribute expertise toward training and refining cutting edge AI systems.

So, there you go. You’re not just working with AI, you are helping train it, which is the point of these jobs. They want you to be passionate about the subject and excited for the future of AI as well.

Base rate, again, they say up to 40 per hour. I don’t know how low that gets. It may depend on a lot of factors. A lot of times it might depend on experience or the subject matter or what country you live in and maybe the cost of living in that country. Bonuses, additional pay available based on project performance.

Uh, you are a freelance 1099 contractor and they mention the locations, flexible hours, choose when you want to work, weekly payouts via a secure platform and you will never have to go anywhere in person to do this.

And then they mention, um, the application process. It says there’s a skills assessment or interview. So, there may be some times where you don’t have to have a formal interview, but either way you’re going to do at least one or the other.

Now, if you want to see what other ones are available, you see Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Math. Again, we already went over Graphics and Visual Design, trained robots with data entry for AI. That’s in Mexico. And then you have a few coding jobs and stuff as well.

As far as what it’s like to work here, 3.2 out of five stars, a pretty average score. Again, this is another company I don’t believe you’ll get any benefits with, but a 2.2 out of five difficulty score is quite easy.

Interview experience 51% positive, only 16% negative, that’s pretty good as well. So, in terms of just good scores in general I would say these are very good.

Invisible.co Company Overview and Job Opportunities

Next we have a company called Invisible.co. This is another artificial intelligence related company that’s, that’s constantly looking especially this year for people to help them train AI models.

Now obviously we want to verify through Google Gemini whether this is a legit company and based on more than 17 sources they are in fact a legitimate company.

They are an AI and automation company. They are not a scam. Um, they do have some criticism from contract workers based on job security, management, lack of benefits.

I mean again lack of benefits. You’re not really looking for benefits if you’re looking for a gig like this. This is typically done again as more of a side job.

It’s not usually something you would do full-time, but as far as a way of making money through something that’s a trend right now and AI, you can use your expertise and probably work more like part-time or as a freelancer.

But Invisible is another company kind of similar to something like Outlier. Uh, you can look for stuff like this. You have a Customer Service, uh, Rep Specialist AI Trainer.

This is a little bit different than some of the other ones I’ve seen where you’re just training something on a subject matter. You’re an expert in.

This one says it’s worldwide remote. I don’t know if that’s literally every single country or if there are a couple of countries that maybe are exceptions there, but that’s what they say in terms of location.

They do have a very wide pay range, which probably is common with many worldwide jobs. In fact, especially freelance ones, I would say a lot of times they pay you based on where you live and based on your level of expertise.

But, you know, they say it could be anywhere from 6 to 65 per hour. Well, $6 per hour actually sounds very low if you’re say in the United States, but it could go a lot further if you converted that to another currency in a country that has a much lower average cost of living.

Now, they’re looking for someone who has customer service experience or is some sort of customer service expert. These are going to be for large-scale language models.

Again, LLMs, typically chat bots, um, as you can see and helping turn them into powerful engines of communication, support and user engagement.

So, it sounds like you’re going to be giving feedback on customer support LLM chat bots for AI purposes. So basically they’re you’re helping train AI to do customer support and do it well without having a bunch of errors.

That’s typically the idea for a lot of these jobs. So, you are training it. They literally tell you that right here.

They want people that know a lot about things like problem solving, CRM, conflict de-escalation, call center operations, support tickets.

Um, maybe you’ll challenge advanced language models on topics like live chat resolution, product troubleshooting, billing, tone calibration, refund handling, technical walkthroughs.

So, not only are you helping train it and, uh, resolving an issue, but also resolving it in a diplomatic way, in a way that doesn’t, um, sound too dry or too, um, cold in the response.

You have to make it have kind of a human element to the response and not just give a straightforward answer that sounds like, you know, just actually sounds like a robot.

So, you will in a typical day converse with the model in realistic scenarios and give it feedback to help train it.

They’re looking for a Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Business, Communications or related field. That is ideal.

You may not actually have to have that, but they’re definitely interested in people who have that.

Prior experience in customer support, help desk platforms or support QA, uh, signal a fit.

Clear metacognitive communication showing your work is essential.

So, they’re telling, they’re saying like this would be a fit, this would be ideal.

They may be a little bit flexible with these things, but I would probably recommend having at least one of those two things.

So, if you’re interested in training an AI model in the area of customer support, you can check out Invisible and apply for a job like this one, which could pay between 6 and 65 an hour.

They also have a lot of others as well. Like for instance, if you are a specialist in one particular area, like a certain language or something like that, you can also become an AI trainer in those as well.

They have over 533 jobs.

As far as what it’s like to work here, they have a 3.6 out of five star rating, which is generally decent. It’s pretty good.

Um, as far as interviews go here, a 2.8 out of five difficulty score is not bad. Pretty standard.

Interview experience looks pretty standard as well.

Nothing, nothing too bad there either.

Again, pretty wide pay range, uh, I would not expect any benefits here, though.

If you’re interested in finding other work from home jobs, I still have the job board that is international, has all sorts of remote jobs that are updated on a daily basis with usually between 17 and 1800 at a time.

You can sort by location, company, uh, company rating, and job title.

Hopefully, this was helpful.
