Okay, so if you’re like Delilah, I’m looking for something. Well, I think you’re going to find something in this article. So, I’m going to get right on into it. We are going to hit the highlights. These leads have been closing very, very fast, and I want y’all to have a chance to catch them.

Spotlight on Optum and Its Remote Opportunities

All right, you guys. So, jumping on in here, the first company that I want to spotlight is called Optum. We have talked about Optum many, many times. Optum is a part of United Health Care, United Health Group. Okay, they are all together and they have their own Glassdoor.

So, this is a huge company within that umbrella of United Health Group companies, 10,000 plus employees and people enjoy working here. That is also why you will often see them have remote opportunities. They always have remote opportunities, and you’ll be like, “Wow, they are always hiring.”

They sure are because they are running a major operation. So, what you’ll want to do is you’ll want to scroll down to the bottom on their homepage, and you’ll select careers under the heading Company. And then from here, you can learn more about Optum and what they have going on.

Searching for Fresh Remote Leads at Optum

This is a great company with lots and lots of opportunities, as I was saying. And so, when you select Search Careers, you’re going to be taken to their careers page where you can toggle remote jobs. We want to see fresh hot leads, so no more than a week old. We want them to, you know, be fresh off the press.

And then we can see right now as me recording this, there are 192 remote opportunities. Also note that a lot of times Optum will hire in more locations than what’s listed right under the location tab. So with this company, you just have to be curious.

And I’m going to go into one lead in particular. So, jumping on in, this is for Optum senior data entry clerk position. This is a full-time Monday through Friday role, and you’re going to work 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Pacific Standard Time.

Details of the Senior Data Entry Clerk Role

And if you are not on the West Coast, that is okay because like I was saying, you got to be curious. They’ll often put this little blurb at the top of their leads. It says that this position is national remote. You’ll enjoy the flexibility to commute from anywhere within the US as long as you take on some tough challenges.

So, they’re letting you know you’re going to have to work, but you can work from where you’re at in the US, which is great for us. So, you just want to convert this to your time zone. Now, what you’re going to do is you’re going to perform high volume data entry using word processing, spreadsheet, database, and other computer software.

Data entry of billing pneumonics and all required billing information that appears on imaged requisitions. Maintain compliance and HIPAA regulations at all times. Meet the required quota and production targets as outlined. Ability to adapt to changes and other duties and tasks.

Qualifications for the Optum Data Entry Role

So, to qualify, you need to have a high school diploma, must be 18 years of age or older, one plus years of data entry experience, one plus years of working experience with Microsoft tools including Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Excel, ability to use remote meeting learning applications including instant messaging and article conferencing, ability to use 10 key typing, proficient in typing 70 plus words per minute with proven experience applying this skill and professional environments and work that schedule.

So, they give us some nice-to-haves here, but these are the things that are required. So, I know a lot of y’all are some data entry enthusiasts and have been doing this type of work for a long time. So, jumping on into the second company. This company is called Thrivant. And I have been sharing Thrivant kind of often the last like two weeks.

It seems like two weeks ago I shared a lead, and then maybe it was last week or earlier this week I shared a lead, and now I am back again. And I don’t usually double dip and I don’t usually triple dip. But the details are detailing with Thrivant.

So I said if they have something I am sharing it, and if you go to their Glassdoor, this is a huge company, great ratings; that is what we want to see.

How to Find Thrivant Remote Jobs

Now, at the bottom of their homepage, you just want to select careers under quick links. And then from here you can learn more about the company. We want to search for their leads. So we’re just going to leave this blank and hit search.

And then now we are able to toggle our search for remote and anything else that we want to see. And then we are able to apply that filter and see what they have available. I’m going to get into one in particular right now.

Details of Thrivant Customer Care Role

So, jumping on in, this is for their customer care professional beneficiary claim support remote position, and you’re going to be working in their commercial insurance department, and this is a full-time remote opportunity.

Now, I love these details. I love how they let us know how they’re going to get us started, and you’re going to have like 10 weeks of structured training and onboarding and learning about the product and program. I love all of these details.

I think y’all are going to love them, too. And I love the benefits. Really great benefits.

And if that wasn’t good enough, I love the fact that they’re not looking for anything crazy. They are willing to train you up and teach you. So you just need a high school diploma.

If you have any education after high school, that’s preferred but not required. So an associate, some sort of certification, a bachelor’s, you name it. Okay? That’s what post-secondary education is.

So if you don’t have that, that’s okay. The requirement is high school diploma.

Requirements for Thrivant Role

They want you to have experience navigating complex customer interactions from support through to resolution. So, if you’ve worked in customer service, anything like that, ability to welcome change and contribute to continuous improvement in a fast-paced work environment, you need to have internet speed and upload speed that meets these requirements.

You have to have a private secure location to work. And you have to be able to make this schedule.

So, the training is going to be 8 to 4:30 p.m. Central Standard Time Monday through Friday.

And then after training, you’re going to work a full-time schedule, the hours of 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Central Standard Time Monday through Friday.

So, you get to keep your weekends, and I love that.

Resume Tips for Thrivant Application

And if you’re a person who wants to keep your weekends and you want to get into the wonderful world of insurance, which is awesome, this is a RESUME TEMPLATE career path, then I would put my best foot forward using the Remote Builder software.

So, now let’s move on to the next company. So, jumping on in, the next company that I am spotlighting is AFLAC. And we know AFLAC. This is another company that I’m doubling back on because they have some great remote opportunities that are beginner friendly.

Now, if you’re not familiar with AFLAC, they are in insurance. And you can check out their Glassdoor. Huge company, great ratings, been around for a long time. We love to see it.

Finding and Applying for AFLAC Jobs

Now, if you want to navigate to their careers, all you would need to do is just scroll down to the bottom and you’ll see careers right here. And then from here, you can learn more about the company.

We want to leave this search bar blank and hit search. And now we are able to type in remote if we want to, to see the remote opportunities. We can, you know, type in what we’re looking for, but I’m going to get into lead right now.

AFLAC Claim Specialist Position Details

So, jumping on into this lead from AFLAC. This is for their claim specialist one position. This is remote US-wide.

Now, they do mention if you live close to one of their offices, then they want you to come in, but if you live more than 50 miles from their offices, then it will be remote.

So, this is one of those roles where if you’re close to the office, they want to see you. But if you’re beyond 50 miles from an office, hey, you get to work 100% remote. So that’s what that means.

And so, you are going to be handling claims. They’re going to train you in how to handle claims. And this is another great career path in the wonderful world of insurance.

Requirements and Benefits for AFLAC Role

And all they are looking for is a high school diploma, one year of work experience, and experience and proficiency using Microsoft Office. So that is what you need to bring to the table.

You’re going to get great benefits with this role, and you’re going to learn how to process and handle claims.

And claims is one of those roles where it could be phone-based or it could be non-phone-based; with this one, you should expect talking on the phone, but for the folks who are trying to get to no phone land, being in claims gives you a lot of autonomy to be in no phone land, so you got to work your way there.

Resume Advice for AFLAC Applications

So, now let’s move on to our final hot lead. The next company that I want to spotlight is called Ascension. And this is another company that I have shared multiple times recently. They’ve just been on a hiring spree.

And I’m actually on their healthcare website. You might go to their homepage and be directed somewhere else, but I’m already over on their healthcare site just so you can kind of get a feel for like where their locations are.

I wanted to show that this is like a hospital healthcare services company, and they have physical locations in these states that you see on the map. So, I just wanted to give you guys a view of like what does this company have going on.

Now, you can also go to their Glassdoor, and you can see this is another huge company, great rating, lots of reviews, and people love working here.

Now, if you want to navigate to their careers, all you will need to do is just scroll to the bottom and select Ascension Careers. And from here, you’ll be taken to their main career page.

You can just leave this blank and hit search. And when you do that, you can now toggle your search to what you want to see, or you can actually type something in.

Ascension Temporary Patient Access Rep Role

I’m going to get into a role right now. So, jumping on in, this is for Ascension’s temporary patient access rep position. And this is a part-time Monday through Friday, 20-hour a week role, and they have classes beginning in September and October.

So, this process is going to go fast. Temp jobs already have a fast process, but they are doing training classes this month and next month.

And so, what you’re going to be doing is you are going to schedule patient appointments and assist patients with their needs. So that is the main thing.

Accurately schedule patients for their procedures and perform clerical and reception duties associated with patient registration.

You just need a high school diploma or one year of equivalent experience. And so that’s really all they’re looking for.
