Work From Home Jobs Hiring Now

Hey guys, in this article we have some work from home jobs that are hiring right now. These are some new ones I found that seem to not require experience, or if they do, it’s a preference or very little required. So, Job 1: the first company that’s hiring is called Webster Store. And Webster Store, if we do a search on whether or not they are a legitimate company, they are an online retailer that specializes in restaurant supplies and food service equipment.

Webster Store Company Background

They were actually founded in 2004, based in Pennsylvania. So, they are a company with an A+ Better Business Bureau rating, and they have pretty good reviews in general. They also have a 4.5 out of five on Trust Pilot. So, seems to be a legitimate company according to, uh, Google’s Gemini. And Customer Solutions Specialist is the name of the job. It’s 11:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time.

Shift Details and Location Flexibility

So, this is more of an afternoon to evening shift type of job if you are someone who likes to maybe stay up a little bit later, wake up later, and you’re more of a night owl type of person. So, this one says it starts at $25.70 per hour. You do not have to be located in Pennsylvania. So, they mention down here, uh, legal residents of one of the following states, and they give you dozens of United States that you can apply from.

Training and Work Schedule

So, that seems to be okay if you are in many different states. You don’t have to be there. That’s just where their headquarters seems to be located. So, this is going to have a 60-day training period, 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Eastern time or local time zone equivalent, Monday through Friday. It’s weird that they do a more traditional time frame for training, but then you transition to more of an evening shift, but that’s just how some jobs work.

Job Role and Remote Work Setup

So, this is an action-oriented role where critical thinking is required to assist customers utilizing different types of software tools, navigating customer accounts, research questions, solve problems, and more. So, with this one, they do of course have you work remotely, but they still do like article meetings, uh, training sessions, collaborative forums, and stuff like that.

Remote Work Qualifications

So, remote work qualifications, you do need to have high-speed internet. Now, they want it to be pretty fast here. Um, they typically prefer 75 Mbps download, which is a little faster than some companies require, but if you are in the suburbs or the city near a major city, you should be fine. Should be able to get that. And access to a home router and modem, dedicated home office that’s distraction-free.

Typical Company Requirements

Typically, uh, most companies want a wired Ethernet connection, a valid physical address, a desire and ability to work and communicate with other team members via chat, webcam, etc. And then we already went over the location part here. So, responsibilities here: You will use best practices to basically solve customer problems, ensure that customers always have the most complete and up-to-date info, switch task as needed based on the needs of the department, partner with other departments within and outside customer solutions, approach escalated customer situations with care, receive regular feedback from teammates.

Meetings and Support Channels

So, they do say you may need to do, uh, article one-on-one meetings as well as team meetings. I’m not sure if that means you will be doing meetings with customers or if that’s mostly just with your co-workers. So, other than that, you will continue to invest in learning and training, and they say you will be doing customer support via phone, live chat, email, etc. So, you’re going to be getting experience in a lot of different types of support.

Physical Requirements and Skills Needed

Physical requirements: very little if any. Of course, experience proficiency with Microsoft Office as I mentioned all the time—it’s usually Google Drive or Google Workspace or Microsoft Office—they’re like equivalents of each other. Also, good communication skills in English. A 40-word per minute typing speed is required; you can test that for free at typingtest.com, as well as we already went over the internet speed and what your shift is going to look like and when they do your training.

No Degree Required

So, the role does not require a degree. You do not have to have any sort of college degree for this one. They say ability to communicate well, multitask, understand, adapt to different people, work on a team and independently, follow through and meet deadlines, an internal drive to succeed. So, they don’t really mention that you have to have like this many years of experience or anything like that.

What They Are Looking For

So, they’re mostly looking for: do you have good communication skills? Are you able to, you know, prioritize properly? Things like that. Do you have fast internet? And do you know how to use Microsoft Office? As far as what it’s like to work here, they have a 3.4 out of five star rating, so a pretty solid score. Here for their benefits, they have a four out of five star rating, another solid score.

Interview Experience

Interview-wise at Webster Store, 2.8 out of five difficulty, a pretty average interview experience as well. Next, we have a company called Job 2 USA/International Alternatives Teleperformance, which is at tp.com. Now, if you want to look into more about this company, whether or not they are legit, according to Google’s AI mode, they actually are a legitimate global company.

Teleperformance Company Overview

They specialize in outsource digital business services, including customer service, technical support, and content moderation. They are based in France, and they’ve actually been operating since 1978. So, they actually hire in many different countries here. They have pretty good company scores, um, based on their reviews on different sites where, uh, employees rate them.

Current Job Openings

So, as far as what it’s like, what you’re looking for here in terms of a job right now, they are posting these remote automotive sales and service rep jobs. They have multiple locations available. These are, I’m looking at the United States ones. Again, this company does seem to hire in other countries as well, but you’ll have to do a separate search for each country.

Job Duties

Um, this one, what you’re going to do, of course, is basic customer support. They support many different states. I believe you can apply from most places in the US, but they mention a bunch of different ones specifically in a list. So, make sure you live in one of those states if you’re applying for the US version of this job.

Benefits Offered

And for the benefits here, they offer paid training, competitive wages, full benefits like insurance and 401k, paid time off, and employee wellness and engagement programs. So, pretty solid benefits there, at least the basics of a lot of what US jobs offer.

Customer Service Responsibilities

Responsibilities here: A customer service rep, they all have very similar jobs except just depends on the company you’re working for. This one, connect with customers via phone, email, and chat, and/or social media. So, you are doing pretty much every form of customer service, which some people might prefer. So, you’re not just doing phone calls.

Handling Customer Interactions

Calmly attempt to resolve and deescalate any issues. Escalate interactions when necessary and appropriate. And, uh, respond to requests for assistance. Track all call related information. Provide feedback on call issues and upsell if required. So, maybe a little bit of sales involved, but it’s typically considered just a regular customer support job.

Job Qualifications

Qualifications here: work remotely in a virtual team environment. They say this part, six months customer service experience is preferred. Now, obviously, if you’ve been looking at job requirements for a long time, you know that preferred means it’s not necessarily a deal breaker if you don’t have it, but 6 months is very low either way.

Experience and Age Requirements

And almost any job with some sort of customer-facing or customer support interaction or customer interaction in general would probably qualify for that 6 months. Over 18 years of age or older, they want you to be able to type at least 25 words per minute, which is, you know, it’s not super fast really, not nearly as fast as the last job. High school graduate or GED, which tells me they don’t require a degree.

Computer and Internet Skills

And comfort with desktop computer system, logical problem solving skills. You can use Windows operating systems, and internet requirements are 25 Mbps download speed, so not as bad, um, as some companies require, like the last one I showed you, for instance. And they do not want you to use wireless internet.

Internet Connection Requirements

So, for instance, no satellite, mobile data, or hotspots, that kind of thing. You may still be able to use Wi-Fi. Doesn’t necessarily say you have to, uh, be wired directly into the router or the modem, but a lot of companies usually want that as well.

Company Ratings and Pay

They don’t tell you upfront exactly how much the pay is, but we’ll get to reviews on that here in a second. They do have a 4.3 out of five star rating on their, uh, reviews page for Glassdoor, which is a very good score. Their benefits, they’re not quite as known for their benefits.

Benefits and Interview Scores

Now, they do seem to offer a decent amount in the United States, but a lot of global companies don’t get as good a benefit scores in some cases just because it’s hard to provide the same benefits for different countries. I do, they do have a pretty easy difficulty score for interviews. Interview experience is very positive. Very good scores in general for interviews here.

Salary Range

And then customer service reps here, if you look at the tops, the top results here, they have thousands of reviews. So obviously the more you have, probably the more accurate, but you’re looking at looks like between 40 and 65,000 a year.

Quick Med Claims Company Overview

Now, Job 3: we have another company called Quick Med Claims that’s hiring right now and doesn’t have as much of a requirement for experience as a lot of jobs. Now, in terms of whether they’re a legitimate company, according to sources, they are a legitimate company specializing in billing and reimbursement services for emergency medical transportation providers, including ground and air ambulance services.

Company History and Location

They’ve actually been in business since 1991 and are based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. So, good signs there. And obviously, AI checks like dozens of sources to come to those conclusions. So, at QuickMed Claims, they are actually hiring for these, uh, pre-bill specialist one positions.

Remote Job Availability

Now, in terms of other jobs that they might have available, they actually have three different jobs that are fully remote jobs available right now. If you look at the location here as well, they all just say fully remote, remote worker.

Headquarters Location Note

And when you see it say Pennsylvania, usually that just means if it’s a fully remote position, a lot of times the company will just put where their main office location is, their headquarters. But if it’s 100% work from home, usually you don’t have to actually be near that location. That’s just how most companies are.

Job Responsibilities

So, with this one, again, 100% remote, you will work under the supervision of the billing manager in cooperation with other staff providing pre-billing and coding services. You’ll be responsible for adhering to all QMC HIPAA privacy policies and procedures.

Daily Tasks

Ensure consistent adherence to company attendance. Utilize systems to locate insurance and patient demographic information. Move claims through various workflows. Enter patient information into the claim. Follow the QMC processing guidelines.

Communication Tasks

Using the phone to call facilities like hospice or assisted living. Moving claims to the appropriate workflow once patient, payer, and modifier information is correct, and more.

Preferred Qualifications

So, now with requirements here, most of the things that they mention are preferred. They don’t say this is required, this is preferred. They don’t, they put it all in one section. They don’t have a separate preferred section, but they use language like they’re flexible with experience.

Education and Experience Preferences

High school diploma equivalent is required, so they will tell you if it is in fact required as they prove right here. Certification in medical billing coding preferred but not required. Two plus years of customer service experience preferred. One plus years experience in medical billing preferred and revenue cycle management preferred.

Additional Knowledge and Skills

So, most of the stuff that they’re talking about either certifications or experience related things for this job are preferred. Working knowledge of health insurance and all that stuff is also preferred. Working knowledge of various state regulations preferred. Knowledge of commercial payer databases, strong computer skills, ability to identify problems and escalate issues.

Benefits Offered

So, the bottom part here is all mostly just can you do this? Do you think you could do that? Uh, benefits: comprehensive benefit package, 401k with company match, profit sharing, potential bonus program, potential flexible work schedules, and paid time off and holidays.

Salary and Reviews

So, they do offer a few benefits here. They don’t mention up front exactly how much the pay is, so we might have to go off of reviews for that. But again, they do have multiple jobs related to billing and accounts receivable.

Company Ratings and Interview Feedback

And then we have 3.4 out of five stars overall for what it’s like to work here, 3.7 out of five for their benefits. Not too bad there. They don’t really have a lot of information about interviews yet, but so far they have a pretty easy score and an interview experience that’s mostly either positive or neutral with no negative reviews yet.

Expected Earnings

In terms of how much you can earn here, if you look at, uh, billing related jobs, they do have one at the top here. It says 37 to 46,000 a year, which is probably pretty close to what you might be able to expect. You have medical billing specialist down here that pretty much says the same thing.

More Remote Jobs Available

Now, of more jobs, course, if you want more remote jobs like these at more companies, I have 1,700 plus remote jobs. In fact, it’s about, it’s about 1770 active remote jobs right now on my remote job board here.
